Lavender Essential Oil (10 ml)
Lavandula Latifolia is a bush-shaped perennial shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family and is commonly known as male lavender, lavender, or lavender. It can reach up to 1 meter in height, being taller than lavender and more greyish in color. It prefers the semi-arid, moderately warm, dry or semi-dry Mediterranean climate and warm to cool winters. It needs good lighting and loose soils without ease for ponding, limestone and alkaline pH. It predominates between 700 and 1,500 m of altitude. It is a typically Mediterranean species and in Spain it is abundant in the eastern half of the peninsula. The useful part of the plant is the flowering spikes. Lavender oil is colorless or yellow and has a fresh, camphor-like scent. It is an emergency remedy against burns and stings. Its carminative, antibacterial, antiviral, immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, anticatarrhal and healing properties make it essential in your medicine cabinet. Equally effective against depression, nerves, irritability, tension, and anxiety.
